As with the 800 calories a day diet, this menu is designed to use only unprocessed food (except the yogurt, which is technically processed). It is also meant to be reasonably affordable, easily prepared, and portable -- I expect you to have a commute and after-work activities. It is also designed to be as nutritious as possible.

While I definitely recommend you take a multivitamin, you will be getting most of your nutrients from real food. As a result, because this is both for your health and for your skinny sexiness, I recommend you get the freshest, best-quality food you can afford. When you start eating much less than before, its all the more important to get as much enjoyment possible from every calorie.

So here's the day's food:

Breakfast:

1 cup of Amy's pasta and 3 bean soup, or any other soup so long as there is no more than 120 calories of it.
